Shop the Travel Products featured on Travel Fashion Girl!

Many travel fashion girls ask me about my own travel gear. What backpack do you use? Can you recommend good travel shoes? Where do I find your favorite leave in conditioner?

I personally love shopping for travel gadgets and gear so I formally introduce you to the new Travel Fashion Girl Shop “powered by Amazon”. In my humble little online “store” I feature items that I personally use or are recommended by other travelers such as the travel blow dryer with diffuser Vanessa Yates uses on her curly hair or Natasha Padgitt’s comfortable and fashionable Crocs.  In the coming weeks you’ll see it expand so keep checking back for more items and product reviews, too.

I’ve been wanting to have my own retail store since the age of 13 so I guess this is my first official attempt! Check it out: Travel Fashion Girl Shop.

These are my Top 3 Favorite Travel Products

Osprey Aura 65L

Osprey Farpoint 55L Backpack size

When I decided to downgrade from my beloved Osprey Aura 65L and travel with just a carry on size backpack I obsessed for months! I was really happy with my experience with Osprey and did not want any other brand. I read all the reviews and compared the Osprey Porter 46L and the Osprey Farpoint 55 and the winner for backpacking long term travel was the Osprey Farpoint 55L.

WHY: The Farpoint is actually smaller than the Porter. The main backpack is only 40L making it perfectly compact and the detachable day pack is a good trekking size of 15L. The main compartment also has zippers that lock which is such an awesome feature top loaders lack. While I was originally hesitant to change from top loader to front open style bag, by using the AmazonBasics 4-Piece Packing Cube Set I am more organized than ever before!

Check out my Osprey Backpack here. It’s absolute minimalist travel perfection!

Compass Rose Compression Packing Cubes

Compass Rose Packing Cubes

In 2017, I launched Compass Rose Travel Accessories and my very first product was a 4-Piece Set of Carryon Packing Cubes. These are the only packing cubes sized to fit the exact width of a carryon suitcase and they also have a unique color-coded and numbered organization system – the only kind currently available anywhere on the market.

I put together a five-part YouTube series showing you the different methods to use packing cubes. If you use this specific packing strategy, they can also compress your belongings. This is the secret to traveling carryon only!

Sony TX5 Waterproof camera

Sony Cybershot Waterproof Camera (in Titanium)

Throughout my entire Round the World trip  I fell in love with the ocean but could not capture my memories. I longed for a camera that I could use underwater (and that I could accidentally drop without breaking). I bought the Sony TX5 Waterproof camera when I went home and I’m so thankful I did!

WHY Sony: I am very brand loyal and I love the stylish and sleek look of Sony cameras. Plus a major benefit is that they don’t have major lag time enabling you to take quick pictures increasing your chance of getting that momentary shot. The camera takes excellent underwater and regular pictures too and I never have to worry about losing my prized possession to a rain storm or toilet bowl ever again.

8/13 Update: I now have the  Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX20 and you can see a full list of my 5 top waterproof cameras here.
