WOW! Thank you so much, Alex, for this post. Your entire blog, and this post in particular, are exactly what I've been looking for. I am mentally packing for a month long trek in May from Isla Mujeres to Mexico City. The pieces you put together and the accessories you add are just incredible! Really glad I found you on Pinterest. Keep it up and thank you again.

Hi ! I found your web really inspirational and helpful. I am traveling to Cancun, Mexico at the end of February for 8 days. Do you think I should go by "Playa de Carmen" list? I mean, is the weather the same?

Thank you! I did make a list for Africa: http://travelfashiongirl.com/safari-clothing-packing-list/ But I haven't been to Nigeria yet so a little tricky to do a list :-)

Merida was a little dressier than I expected; I was very happy I had thrown a dress in my backpack because I wore it to dinner three of the four nights we were there. Very cute ensembles!

Thanks Laura! I loved Merida! The food was also one of my very favorite in Mexico.
