Can’t wait to try out the SKYLER pair during my visit to Turkey and Greece in June and July. I will be traveling internationally with my sister who just graduated!
I would love to win the Susan pants in Navy and Medium. I’m traveling indefinitely from July 30th so these pants would be an absolute GEM in my warddrobe. I’m also a travel blogger too – so they’d get a lot of exposure. They look classy, yet comfortable which is definitely my style.
We’re starting in Bali and then heading to Singapore, Dubai, France and beyond!
Hello Travel Girls!!
Just yesterday, we (boyfriend Joe, Joe’s brother Michael, Michael’s girlfriend, Kelsey, and I) booked flights from Charlotte, N.C. to London on 8/20. We have no plans to hang out in London, but instead used the cheap flight to find our feet on foreign soil.
From there, we will chunnel our way to Paris and take the next 7 days to make our way to Barcelona. We currently have not a night along the way planned, but assume there will be ample amounts of rolling hill climbing, country side scootering, cobblestone skipping, wine tasting, street dancing, heart swooning, romantic dinner lavishing, language murdering, conversation drawing, futbol embracing, bull scouting, tapas devouring, momento shopping, lust enducing, tourist appearance shedding, train riding, history absorbing, culture diving, breath losing, hair frizzing, eye batting, happy tear shedding moments.
From there we are flying to Dublin, where we will have the honor of spending 3 nights in an adorable Portabello condo, the only accomodations we have planned. Putting my mushroom love aside, this Old Jewish hipster neighborhood is also known for being gay friendly…appropriate considering our little condo is decked out in lesbian love art. We do have tickets to the Penn State /Central Florida football game on 8/30, the primary purpose of this trip since our two boys are PSU grads. Oh the beer, the cheers and even possible tears….Now I’m SURE you now see how the Blanca folder pants in size Large would be ESSENTIAL on this adventure. Cute prep and style time will be at a minimum, considering we’re all sharing 1 bathroom, and spontaneous chaos will be exponentially maximizing!
And just between us girls….I think there’s a solid chance of an epic engagement taking place somewhere along the magic winding travel road. Now wouldn’t that be a heck of a moment for the blog books?!
When I went Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda and Uganda, one of my fellow travelers was compelled to write a poem about me:
Heather
Who had an outfit for every kind of weather,
Purple tops in sync
With shoes of pink
But the prize goes to those boots trimmed in leather!
At first I was embarrassed, but then I was flattered! People were actually impressed with how I packed and what I wore?!
Tragically, I’m still without a pair of the infamous Anatomie travel pants. How is this possible?!
I’m off to Wyoming in June, which is actually my home State. But it will be husband’s first trip to Yellowstone, where I can show off my secret obsession of mudpots.
In the land of crisp Wranglers and true mountaineering attire, I need something that doesn’t automatically indicate the true city slicker I’ve become. Dresses are scoffed at, but so is trying to hard: I don’t want to look like I’m scaling the Grand Teton, when I’m clearly not. I want to feel practical, while looking fashionable. What better way to do this than with a new pair of small, black Susan’s?
I need to be able to go from hiking through the delicious smell of sulfur to eating at my favorite Jackson Hole restaurant. I think that’s what versatile, functional fashion is all about, and I’d be thrilled to share my pictures and fun with TFG readers.
You are going to have a tough time picking a winner for this one! It’s so interesting to see people going so many places. For me traveling is only an occasional thing I get to do because of student loans and rent. I have been saving up for a bit and finally get to go on a trip. This summer I am very excited to be able to be going to EUROPE! I will be traveling with my sister’s roommate and will be visiting my friend in Cambridge who is working on her masters. We are going to be traveling to Paris, London (Stonehenge, Bath, and Windsor too), Scotland (bus tour to Isle of Skye, Edinburgh, and meeting a long lost relative in Glasgow), Swansea (Wales), seeing a play in Stratford upon Avon, flying to Ireland (Dublin, Galway, Cliffs of Moher, Killarney), and flying back to visit Cambridge. Did I mention we are each only going to be bringing one piece of carry on luggage? This means I will have to pack light and only bring the essentials. With the weather being so variable in Europe I know I am going to need shorts and pants in order to keep up with the changing temperatures. I have been trying to find the right pair of pants but haven’t found anything that will work for me on a budget. Getting a pair of awesome pants for free would be amazing!
I would love to be a contributor for TFG by taking pictures and posting comments about these pants. I am an amateur photographer (who isn’t these days) and I am also a middle school English teacher. There are several styles that look great but if I had to choose one I would say I prefer the Paola Pant XL in gray or black (second choice would be the Fiora same size and colors). Thanks for the opportunity to receive a free pair of pants and be a contributor for TFG.
Love all of your posts and ideas!
Gorilla trekking in Rwanda and Uganda, a fellow traveler wrote a poem about me, which explains a great deal:
Heather
Who had an outfit for every kind of weather,
Purple tops in sync
With shoes of pink
But the prize goes to those boots trimmed in leather!
At first I was embarrassed, but then I actually realized people were impressed with my packing!
Despite this, I still do not own a pair of Anatomie pants. How did that happen?! Why am I missing out?
I have a trip planned to Wyoming, in June, and can’t think of a better place to test them out. It’s actually my home state, and the husband’s first trip to Yellowstone. I want to look fashionable, but practical. In the sea of blue, crisp Wranglers and true mountaineering gear, I need something (like the Susan, navy, size small) that reflects practicality and style. I don’t want to look like the city-slicker I’ve now become, but I also don’t want to look like I’m scaling Everest when I’m not. The Susan fits in, without blending in. Where loud clothing is scorned, and impractical clothing scoffed, I can’t think of a better choice. And I’d be honored to show off my new pants to TFG readers when I return.
Not to mention they would be perfect for Thailand and Bhutan in late August/early September….
I think I would make an awesome Anatomie contributor for TFG during my travels this summer because I have a (fiery) passion for travel clothing and have a unique need for highly functional travel pants. Seriously, I spend far too much time on Pinterest and this website. I will be traveling through Kenya for the month of July as well as the majority of next year. I run a nonprofit there called Project HAND UP that teaches HIV/AIDS prevention education using live puppet shows. I have done lots of backpacking through Europe and I am always looking to perfect my capsule wardrobe but Kenya is by far my most challenging location to pack for.
I am constantly in search of versatile pants as I pack as little clothing as possible. I have to look professional and stylish while in the city for business meetings or dinners out while wearing clothing comfortable and functional enough to wear on long flights, crowded night buses across the country, while working with children and adults all day in a variety of settings and climates, providing job training, playing with kids, etc. all while being easy to wash while living out in rural villages.
I am in love TFG. I am always hoping to see content about travel to Subsaran Africa besides just the stereotypical “safari vacation” look. Nairobi is a well traveled East African city with business and economy expanding rapidly. Appearance is of the utmost importance there. I felt seriously underdressed wearing jeans and a cardigan while working in the slums last year. More and more women take vacations and business trips there every year and I am sure others would love to see what a culturally appropriate, stylish look entails! My photos will have lots of animals, crazy adventures, puppets (weird, I know, but people love them!) and gorgeous landscapes and culture that people don’t get to see everyday.
When I am not in Kenya, I am travel back and forth across the US and live out of a bag (haven’t had a “home” in years!). These pants would get lots of use from all around the world! I would be more than happy to send a monthly or quarterly photos and updates on what country they have taken me too! I would hope to win the Paola or Bianca in a size small. I wear many hats with my job and I would love to show off a pair of versatile pants that can match each one! Thanks for your consideration, you guys are the best!
As a frequent visitor to Europe, I have had a hard time perfecting my packing list. This summer, I will be traveling through Germany and Spain, August- September. This will be my longest adventure yet, and I am already worried about what to pack! In Germany we will be camping and hiking in cool weather, and in Spain we will be sightseeing and working on our tans. I need clothing that will be able to transition between these different climates and activities. For my luggage, I will be using a 48 liter backpack in order to ensure I pack light and I have no problem carting it all around for over a month.
I have already contacted Anatomie with questions about their pants, and I hope to try out the Paola, Skyler, and Susan. I think these three will be able to take me from day to night and from mountains to city. Most of my nights will be spent in hostels and budget hotels, so I will be hand washing all of my clothing. My pieces need to quick drying and wrinkle resistant. I am a curvy woman with hard to fit hips, so I am always in search of new pants to wear at home as well.
I have been planning this trip for over one year, which is how I discovered Travel Fashion Girl while researching packing tips. Needless to say, I am on a shoestring budget since I just graduated from college. I hope to start my career in copywriting this summer, so I am already confident in my writing skills.
No matter what, I look forward to reading all of the reviews posted throughout the summer!
Thanks, Alex!
I tried to apply a few days ago, but I don’t see my response up above. I apologize if this turns out to be a duplicate post!
I’m interested in being an Anatomie contributor for TFG this summer, because I’ll be continuously on the go and will find myself in a variety of contexts! My favorite pant design that is being offered is the Celine (I would prefer size M in black). As a short-legged girl, my hope is that these pants will be the right length, so I can just pull them straight out of their packaging and go without worrying about alterations.
Within the summer months alone, I’ll be traveling in Kuwait, Turkey, India, Hong Kong, China, Texas, and Arizona. My husband and I are American expats, so we’ll be stopping by “home” but also transitioning to living in another country. Just for fun, we’ve added side trips for both sightseeing and volunteering.
Having a pair of Anatomie pants would certainly be a positive addition to my travel and everyday wardrobe. To begin, as a graduate student, I try to keep my attire at least business casual at all times, since I never know who I might meet and want to impress! A second consideration is that I’ll be traveling in some countries where it is necessary to dress a little more modestly (the Middle East and India), so wearing pants that are lightweight and quick drying in the heat is all the more important–plus, the Celine pants will pair wonderfully with tunics! Third, limited luggage space means that I need to have the ability to wash all my clothes in the sink, and Anatomie pants certainly fit the bill there.
Thanks for your consideration!
I reside in Indonesia and travel internationally a few times a month. The Paola pants (black, size small) are ideal since they are incredibly versatile, wrinkle free, lightweight, and can be washed and dried in a hotel room overnight. Some upcoming summer travel plans where I would wear my Paolas:
In Dubai, riding a camel in the desert in the cool early morning hours, walking the malls during the searing heat of midday, then changing my flip flops for heels and sipping cocktails in a ritzy bar in the evening.
In Lebanon, exploring the traditional bazaars and feeling comfortable in suitably conservative long black pants.
In the Republic of Georgia, feeling on par with the impeccably stylish and gorgeous local women, but comfortable enough to spend all day exploring small villages on foot.
In central Siberia, where the Paola pants would go from a cafe in central Novosibirsk to an outside barbecue in the Altai mountains.
Visiting Australia, where I can layer some tights under my Paola pants to keep warm during chilly winter bushwalks in Victoria.
On a long layover in Japan, where I could head straight from a long flight to a day of exploring the streets of Tokyo then back again to hop my outgoing flight, without having to pack a change of clothes.
Back in Indonesia, where the Paolas are conservative enough for local taste, lightweight and comfortable for tropical humidity, and polished enough for work.
And finally, home in the US, where I can wear them nearly every day, for nearly every activity, thereby avoiding having to open and dig through my overstuffed clothing boxes sitting in storage!
A haiku
Today a winter blue pant
Tomorrow a brilliant blue under the sun
Sun’s powerful over the blues
Susan, Navy (of course!), small!
I will be shaking off my winter blues
with a European vacation to sunny
Venice and it’s blue lagoons;
the Greek Islands and it’s azure waters;
Spain and it’s brandeis blue villages; &
Finishing with the midnight blues of Paris.
Peace.
I would love to assist as a contributor for TFG and review those adorable Anatomie pants. Celine in medium black would be my choice. I am chaperoning a group of 35 of my middle school students to Washington D.C. in mid-June. I will also drive to New Orleans at the beginning of July to celebrate a girlfriend’s bachelorette weekend. A simple tank and sandals would keep it cute and sophisticated as we dance the 2nd line. The main reason why these pants would be a great addition to my backpack is that I am taking my first trip to Paris in mid-July my honey. These pants are so versatile and would keep me warm in the cool evenings. I am looking forward to exploring French culture in a city where fashion means something. I just discovered this website a few months ago and it has helped me prepare for all three trips this summer. I have started adding pieces to complete my own travel essential packing list. Winning these pants would definitely help with my teacher budget. I am also saving my ducats for Costa Rica next March. I assure you those pants will be the gift that keeps giving. Ooh la la!!!
I would make a very awesome Anatomie contributor for TFG because I will be taking a TON of pictures while exploring places I’ve never been- Ireland and Northern Ireland! I stumbled upon the TFG site which has provided me with so much advice for what to pack on my trip, as I will be abroad for nearly three weeks in June and July. I am so grateful for the advice and information on packing and what to wear and I would love to pay TFG back for the help by contributing while abroad!
I graduated in May with a Master’s degree in Social Work and will be doing a service learning trip with youth in Northern Ireland with my alma mater, Millersville University. I am excited to help others and see the gorgeous landscape across Belfast and the north. I extended my trip and will be exploring Dublin and other cities to immerse myself in the culture and history of the city and beauty of the countryside. Because of being a recent graduate, money has been a little tight but there are things that I need for traveling. I would be grateful for this opportunity to add to my wardrobe without breaking my budget.
I can understand Anatomie’s philosophy of “functional fashion”, which is evident in the sophisticated and elegant style of each clothing article they make. If I could only choose one of the pants, the black Susan pants, size small, would be absolutely perfect for my travel plans. I am attempting to pack everything for my trip in one bag. ONE BAG! Never in my life have I packed this lightly, so I need clothing that can be dressed up and down and that is versatile for the variety of situations I will be in. The Susan pants are in a fashionable, slim fitting style that would suit the variety of situations I will find myself in on this trip. I plan on washing my clothes during the trip to cut down on the quantity I pack, so this lightweight, quick-drying fabric is perfection in a pant.
Even when my travels are complete and I’m back home in Ohio, these pants are so wonderful that I’m sure to be incorporating them into my everyday attire- and telling everyone how I got them!
Thank you Anatomie and TFG for this fantastic opportunity!

Hi Alex – Help me prove everyone wrong, We are road tripping through France (2 weeks) for the first time ever (in June) as my girlfriend and I will be turning 60 this year. Our husbands are going as well. I have convinced all of them that I will be traveling with a carry-on suitcase for the entire 2 weeks. You have to know that I was the queen of packing all my life (one suitcase just for shoes, etc.). So this will be one of my greater challenges. I recently became a “member” of your group but I’ve been following you for sometime. Winning a pair of “Susan” Anatomie slacks would definitely be a huge part of (or a small roll up) for my suitcase. We will be sampling wines form the Alsace Region, biking through Versailles, chateau hopping, crossing the causeway at Mont St-Michel for the first and last time (since it will be replaced with a “super-sleek” bridge, visiting our soldiers laid to rest in Normandy for the 70th Anniversary, and then 5 glorious days in Paris. Your information has helped me so much. Winning a pair of “Susan” would be the icing on my birthday cake. Plus – I will now have to be photographed as part of the deal as I am usually the one taking the pictures. And who knows – this year a carry-on, next year a back pack! (I’m a size 8 – thanks).
I would love to wear the Susan style in Medium black on my upcoming. I am 45 and I will be taking my 2 children for a 38 day trip to China. We are each taking 12 pieces of clothing according to your guide and these pants will make all of the difference.
I would like to look organized, young, and tidy during the trip. I would also like to be a top notch correspondent. Be safe, travel far, and look great!
I would love to blog for the Susan in Grey, size XL. I’m a yoga pants girl trying to break into the big girl world 😉
I am LA/OC based and this summer is going to be my craziest one yet! Nothing international but I will be all over the US!
Starting mid-June in Fargo, ND for a week, then an extended weekend in Sunriver, OR at the end of June. In July I have a local wedding weekend here in OC. In August, I will be going to Seattle and Portland for a week, then as soon as I am back from the PNW I will be MOVING TO ORLANDO! Nothing can prove a pair of pants resiliency like a cross country move! After this summer the party doesn’t stop! In November we are going to Disney’s Aulani in Oahu for a week, a holiday Bahamian cruise in early December. Then the most exciting, London, Bath, Paris, and Rome for 3 Weeks in April/May 2015! Which is how I found this fabulous blog! I’m a crazy Type A planner and all I can think about is what I am going to wear in Europe!
Comfort is my number one thing, I went to FIDM and have great style, when I try, but 90% of the time comfort wins as does my wallet (Dammit SallieMae!) When I saw the post on the Anatomie, I knew these were the pants for me! Comfort, Versatility, AND Style..Freakin Sold! Then I saw the Crocs post..already on that bandwagon…my Haurache sandals are like unicorns running over rainbow clouds! Pure bliss! Which is how I know the Anatomie Susan pants will be!
It will be a busy summer of packing, kind of unpacking, repacking and working my ass off, trying to save for all of this and especially the move! I have my Crocs to keep me sane now hopefully I can have my Anatomie to really save the day!
Melissa $ (and yes that really is my last name:D)
Hi,
I`m going to Sao Paulo, Brazil, in June, during the World Soccer Cup. I work with International Education and I travel a lot, for work and for fun, so I need pants that will look great during business tours ( Last September, in Australia, I worked 14 hours a day flying from city to city each 2 days), endure hours of “museum crawl” ( Last June, I visited 7 museums in 1 day in Lima, Peru), and perform well despite crazy temperature changes (We took the train to Machu Picchu before sunrise, with freezing weather, and at noon it was 86 degrees F). I’ve been looking for the perfect travel pants for years, and the Paola pant by Anatomie seems to be it!
I would love to get a pair of large black Paola pants.
Thank you,
The Pantless Brazilian Travel Girl
I would love to be a contributor to TFG! I have been frequenting the site often in the last several months as I have been preparing for my first backpacking trip in Europe! My partner and I are going to France, Italy, and Greece, we will be traveling for a little under a month. We leave on June 22 and will be returning July 17th, I have traveled some within the United States but this is my first trip abroad. The Bianca pants definitely fit my style of looking great while being comfortable, size medium in black would go perfect with my trip wardrobe!! Packing light and mixing and matching!!
Finding fabulous pants for travel can be challenging at the best of times but traveling around England with your 24 year old son requires fantastic, fashion forward and cool attire. The Celine pants (Medium, grey – please!) fit the bill completely! I can already picture myself scrambling around Hadrian’s Wall in the North of England, taking in the Fashion Museum in Bath, clambering up the Tower in London or sipping a beer and gazing out at the Irish Sea while bottom’d up in my Celine pants.
You can’t shake the travel bug, you can only pass it on and my grown children now have the same wanderlust that I do…so I’ve planned an adventure with each of my boys to get to know them better as adults. England this year, Scandinavia next! We’re used to travelling light and carrying on – lightweight clothing that folds up neatly, looks smashing and hides a multitude of sins is the only way to pack!
Even if you just toss a bag in the back of the car and travel out to the coastal islands of British Columbia…and maybe explore a winery or two in the Interior…as I’ll be doing with my husband in August….you still want to travel light and look great. Functional design is appreciated in for the “around town” look as well and the Celine pants can stand up to long days of revelry at the world famous Calgary Stampede here in July. Pants from Anatomie have the qualities you need in great travel wear…easy wear, clean lines and fabulous design!
Hi there! My husband and I are finishing up the Peace Corps in Indonesia in a few weeks and we’ll be traveling around Asia for about six weeks afterwards. We plan to pack very light so we can just carry on: Air Asia (7kgs!). The Susan pants in black size M would be so perfect for my small wardrobe I’ve planned. We’ll be visiting Maylasia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Nepal and Myanmar. We even have 11 hours in Tokyo on our way back to the States. I’d love to be a contributor. Thanks!
Our family will be in Italy that last two weeks of June. We are traveling to Rome, Venice, Florence and the Cinque Terre. We are planning to only have carry-on luggage, so having light clothing is a must. Even though I have a namesake pair of pants, I am not a skinny pants kind of girl. The Paola in navy would be my choice. Thanks!
I think the Fiora pant as large in black would be great for my 9 day trip to England mid-June!! I am not the avid traveler as many above are. Or as much as I would like to be. However, I still would love these as they would be so versatile for all the activities and sightseeing my best friend has in store for me while I’m there! From London to Stonehenge to hiking and the coastlines…plus needless to say, but of course the pubs along the way, I need to be prepared for anything! With her constant reminders of the likely rainfall and being prepared, this fabric seems perfect to handle the conditions! Comfort is a must for me in any clothing… Ease of care and versatility an excellent bonus! So if I can avoid packing, 8 different varieties of pant, this one could cover them all! Count me in!!!!!
I’d love to win either the Bianca or the Fiora! I am traveling to Saint Petersburg, Russia by way of Frankfurt for a work trip in June and would love the challenge to style the pants for business meetings as well as sightseeing. I’m also traveling to West Virginia, Nashville, TN and likely Washington DC and maybe Phoenix- mostly for work so I know the pants would come in handy. I think it would be a unique opportunity to not only try what looks like an awesome product but also get to take various photos during my travels and then give a review/feedback of the pants. My fingers are crossed! Thanks!
Hi all!
I would make a great contributor to TGF, as I am an expat (retired from teaching high school) living in Cozume,l Mexico—with travels all over the globe! I will be scuba diving in Fiji this summer, venturing back to the United States, then heading to Paris in early fall. And that’s just THIS year! 🙂
The pant finder choose Susan for me—black, size medium. Looks like the perfect travel pant I have always looked for! And I cannot BELIEVE I’ve not found this blog before now—what a wealth of information. Thrilled to be here!
I am traveling to Boston and NYC this summer. I also have a yet-undetermined mystery vacation locale with a new beau. We recently committed to each other–it’s a long distance relationship–and we are scrambling to come up with a destination for unused vacation time before it expires. It could be the beach, the mountains or even abroad! So stay tuned! I’d love to try the Susan pant in a small in either black or navy.
This contest is amazing!!! I honestly pick a different pair of pants to travel for each trip because I just can’t find the perfect pair!! I love traveling in yoga pants, but most don’t have pockets, so the Bianca (Black XL) style would exactly suit my style! I mostly just have work trips planned during June – August, but I expect my first trip on a companies private plan for a business meeting. I will be taking the trip with a CEO of one company and a VP of another company and I have been agonizing of what to wear. These pants would be professional and comfortable and really fit the bill! I would be an awesome Anatomie contributor because I enjoy product reviews! I will take many pictures of all the places the pants will go and I will ensure that the write up fully defines my experience with them! I look forward to hearing my name as a contributor so I can share with all of Travel Fashion Girls readers.
Hi Alex,
I would love to try the Celine pant in black/med., and I would love to be a contributor to TFG.
You really are a wonderful source with such creative ideas. I found your site a year ago while packing for a trip to Amsterdam. Thanks for helping me navigate 10 days with just a carry on! I also was lucky enough to go to the Emmy Awards in 2013 as a nominee. Yes, heels, formal wear, cocktail clothes and travel clothes all in a carry on! I’m always checking your site and reading your emails and blogs because I’m a constant traveler at heart. If only your site had been around 27 years ago when I spent 1 1/2 years on a bus traveling with a show. I could have used your advise then! Your packing lists are invaluable!
This summer my travels will stay domestic with a trip to Northern Michigan for 2 weeks in July and a working trip to Houston for the month of August. And hopefully another whirlwind trip to LA for the 2014 Emmys!
Thanks, and happy traveling!
I would make an excellent Anatomie contributor for TFG during summer 2014, because I’ll be traveling nonstop. I’ll be in Kuwait, the UAE, Turkey, India, Texas, Seattle, China, and Hong Kong all within a span of 3 months, so I need pants that can keep up with me and are worth the space in my suitcase! For this adventure, I think that the Celine style in black, size medium, would suit me the best. As a doctoral student, it’s important to me that I always look “nice,” because I never know who I’m going to meet and with whom I will need to make a good impression. These pants look professional, but as though they have all the functionality and wash-in-a-sink-ability for a girl-on-the-go. Furthermore, the shorter inseam will hopefully allow my petite self to pull on the pants and start traveling without any alterations!
Oooh, I have been longing to try these Anatomie travel pants ever since you first wrote about them!
I am traveling to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island (land of Anne of Green Gables!) this summer, and I’d love a pair of grey Susans in medium to wear there. I expect to wear the pants for lots of day trips with light hiking, strolling the wooden boardwalk around Halifax’s harbour, eating an ice cream cone from Cow’s in downtown Charlottetown . . . not to mention the 10 hours it will take to travel there from my hometown of Edmonton!
I have my own food and lifestyle blog, http://www.dollopofcream.com, and I’d be glad to share your pants with my readers. I am also a professional journalist, so I love writing.
P.S. I’d also love to give Paola a try, again in grey size medium.
I would make a perfect contributor to TFG because I lead a middle school travel club! We will be going to London, Paris, Florence, and Rome in June. One of the hardest things to teach middle school girls is how to pack light. The Paola navy pants (medium) would be a perfect wardrobe item to show students how to maximize packing space.
Mid-summer, my family will be visiting my elderly traditional Filipino mother-in-law for fourteen days. She lives out on a farm, south of Seattle. She doesn’t own a washer or dryer, and has always washed her clothes out by hand. While there, we plan on going hiking on the San Juan Islands, Olympic National Park, and Mount Rainier. The light, wrinkle-resistant pants would be perfect for my visit to the rainy northwest.
At the end of the summer, I am going on a 2-week mission trip to an orphanage in Guatemala. Most of our packing space will be used for clothing and supplies for the orphans, so to the pants I wear need very versatile. They need to be cool enough for the rainforest daytime humidity and heat, but also keep me warm at night, because the orphanage is up in the mountains and it gets quite chilly.
Being a teacher has its challenges, but it allows me time to travel with students, family, and help others. I wouldn’t trade it for any job in the world. I’m already planning my fall break trip!
Carmen, I entered for the Kate pants and if we both win we should find a time to do a double-contributor photo op. 😉 My US home is Seattle but I live in Guatemala where I teach fifth grade. This summer I won’t be in either place too long with a trip to Europe, but let me know if you need Guatemala advice! It’s definitely the rainy season so quick-drying pants would be perfect. Good luck!
Hi All,
I would love to try a small Paola in navy. I am going on my honeymoon from the
09AUG to 06SEP. Even though I don’t get back from my trip until the 06SEP I am happy to write and send a review by the 31AUG. I am happy to provide a second review at the end of my trip as well. I am going to Italy and I will be visiting Rome, Siena, Florence, Pisa, Italian Lakes, Venice, Capri and Pompeii. I then travel to Austria and Switzerland where we will visit Vienna, Salzburg, St. Moritz, Matterhorn and Lucerne. I always take lots of photos when I travel and I will share the photos of my trip and my outfits. I really like the TFG packing lists and I am planning my packing around the Classic packing list. I am interested in not only testing out the Anatomie pants whilst I am on my honeymoon (particularly in colder climates like at the Matterhorn) but also testing them out when I go back home to Australia. I am hoping to go visit some family later in the year in the tropics of Australia. It will interesting to see how the Anatomie pants perform in a tropical summer.
Best of luck to everyone on their travels 🙂

G’day everyone, from Australia. I would love to represent Anatomie wearing the Paola pants in black size M during my summer work and leisure travel.
The first reason that I would be an awesome representative is that because I work for the International Space University as faculty for the Space Policy and Law Department in the Space Studies Program), I am a scientist and lawyer) . Each summer I travel to a different country in June -August. In 2012 it was the Kennedy Space centre in Florida, in 2013 it was Strasbourg in France and this year it will be Montreal in Canada! I live in Australia and it’s winter here at that time of the year so I LOVE MY JOB! I am also traveling for leisure to the USA and Mexico at the end of July when I finish work in Montreal. 2015, I will be working in Ohio in the summer and 2016 I will be in Israel.
The second reason that I while I am working in Montreal, there are countless public and private events that I am required to attend with the invited guests of the Space Studies Program. What better way to promote your travel brand than with a range of photographs taken with International astronauts male and female, (who I know personally from my work) you can really promote the brand as ‘out of this world’ ultimate travel pants that you could take to space.
The International Space University is real, check it out at http://www.isunet.edu and check out my website for more info and for my biography. If you want to see some of the cool things I do, which included in 2012 sitting in the captains seat of the Space Shuttle Endeavour email me for a link to my Facebook page do we can connect and you can check me out.
Ps. By the way, Australia is an awesome travel destination come on down under!
The “Bianca” or “Susan” travel pants look like the perfect item as I accompany my husband to a variety of race tracks this summer. They look like they would easily go from track to dinner with ease and comfort. The wives at the track are always looking for stylish comfort. We have a variety of pictures taken to help promote our husbands sponsors. Our next event is at Gingerman Raceway in Michigan the 3rd weekend in June. The track is located near a cute little tourist town with shops for sight seeing and a little beach on Lake Michigan to enjoy with the kids. I would love to share the excitement of the race track with your fans and give them an inside prospective of just how easily your pants would go from the track to other adventures. The team “Lambkey Motorghini” doesn’t currently have any official clothing sponsors, but would love to have Atatomie and Fashion Travel Girl as an official sponsors on the car. Please learn more about our team on our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Lambkey-Motorghini-Racing/227817943951221.
Thank you for your Consideration,
Carrie
TFG has been a lifesaver for me! I’m leaving my corporate job to volunteer in India throughout the summer and have found few resources as good as yours to keep me well equipped on my journey. I aim to pack light but need enough to make it through 4 months of traveling in places as diverse in style and culture as London, Stockholm, and India. Many flights along with varying temps and weather (monsoon season in India!) call for a versatile wardrobe! Paola pant in black size medium is the ticket to a happy camper (me!). Bon voyage!
I would love to represent Anatomie this summer in a pair of grey Fiora travel pants size small. My husband and I were brought together by a love of travel, but we are entering a new phase in our lives. Next month, we will embark on our first big road trip with our six-month-old. Final destination: NYC. We do plan to stop and see some friends in Philly, etc. on the way from our new home in Asheville, NC. Later in the summer we will be flying somewhere with the baby for our 5th anniversary. We haven’t chosen the destination yet, but I hate checking luggage and babies require so much stuff. A great pair of travel pants should make these trips and future ones easier. Thanks!
I would absolutely LOVE to own a pair of the Kate skinny pants (Medium)! I have been researching the best travel pants for months and I’m convinced they’ll be amazing.
I have a huge trip coming up in July with my fiancé. We have been saving for years to go and it’s finally a reality. We are going to China, Japan, Mongolia, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos! It will be a sweltering 40 degrees C in most of these places and I’ll need pants that will keep me cool, but also look nice. We will be traveling through some very fashionable cities (Seoul, Shanghai, Tokyo) and also doing a lot of hiking and nature walks. Not to mention that the pants will get a lot of use horseback riding through the Mongolian Steppe!
I am packing super minimally and will only travel with a carry-on backpack. Hopefully I can pack well with the help of this site.
How incredible would it be to have photos of my Anatomie pants with jaw dropping backdrops of the Gobi Dessert, the Great Wall, the streets of Seoul, and so much more!!!
I’m traveling to Italy this summer with 5 of my closest girlfriends! We have been friends for 20+ years and this year we will be celebrating in style, together. We will be hiking, touring, vineyard-ing, shopping, lounging and everything in between – looks like these pants are made for girls like me. I would wear them proudly xo
Hello! It’s a shame you don’t have 67 pairs to give away, because I’m pretty sure everyone who’s commented would make great a great contributor; sounds like there’s going to be some amazing trips! As for me, well I’d be able to give those pants (Paola size M in black please!) an experience of the midnight-sun in the beautiful north of Sweden (one word: mosquitos), a wee jaunt to my homeland of Scotland (where no doubt there will be plenty of lovely cold rain) and finally on to the tropical delights of Bali, where they shall face sun and sand and jungle and sea (and monkeys?). Oh, and I forgot about a conference in Greece where I have to give a presentation. Perhaps knowing I’m dressed nicely might calm my nerves!
I would love to win this prize! I have one long trip planned for this summer so far – to Las Vegas, but I have several short trips planned to the beach in Rhode Island, too. I just started following the TFG website and Facebook page, and I’ve already followed some of the recommendations for packing a minimalist wardrobe – i.e. I just recently purchased twelveways in orange! Happy traveling, everyone! 🙂
HI!! I am dying to try one of these pants every since I have been reading about them here!!:) I am going to be on my first cruise this summer, almost three weeks, dream come true and it will be for almost three weeks, which I am hoping to do with only international carry on, including two formal nights..
We begin in Barcelona and end in Venice. In between, there is Mykonos, Capri, Toulon Florence/Pisa, Rome Naples, Istanbul, Kusadasi, Turkey (for Ephesus) and Athens ..it’s going to be amazing, but I am nervous about what to wear and bring. I don’t have a pair of pants that are nice to wear and also comfortable for the plane. I think the Paola in either black or grey in a med or large (depends on how they fit) would be perfect because I love the slim fit (seems youthful) and the mid-rise. Susan or Kate would be a great second choice too.
When I first heard about this trip, I actually cried, It is a dream come true and I can’t wait to take pictures everywhere (one of my favorite things about traveling). I haven’t been outside of the U.S. (except for last year’s trip to Niagara Falls and Toronto) in ten years!! I’ve never done international carry on before but have been doing it successfully in my travels here, including a two week one, no laundry almost two years ago (packing cubes and a super casual, beach trip)..so this will be a challenge and is the reason I started to look around on the internet for help and found my way to you!
I take photography classes in NYC, where I live, and for some shots, it’s great to be able to crouch or bend or move around easily and I think this would be a big help..normally, I am a dress or a leggings kind of TFG, so if these pants can convert me, then, well, that would be their challenge successfully completed!
Thanks for doing this and if you are ever in NYC, then let me know! Your blog has been my absolute favorite so far!

I just graduated college and will be solo backpacking in June and July through Denmark, Norway, Germany, and Russia before going to Prague, Vienna, and Budapest with a few friends. This will be my first time packing carry on only and I’ve recently bought an Osprey Farpoint 55 for my adventure. I want to stay fashionable while abroad so that I can take some great pictures for memories and I think Anatomie pants would be a perfect addition.
I would love to try the black Paola in size Small. They are a classic fit and would be a wonderful addition to my newly condensed packing wardrobe.

Hi there to every one, the contents existing at this website
are really awesome for people knowledge, well, keep up the nice work fellows.
(Hope this is not a re-post, I didn’t see the last comment show up OK!)
Hi Alex! I’m your girl for reviewing the Kate pants. I’ve been a carry-on only kind of gal since my time in the Peace Corps 10 years ago… but I ran into problems a few years ago when I realized my style had matured. I didn’t want to run around in grungy, unflattering pants, old T-shirts, and bandanas! Now I want clothes that are versatile and CUTE while also comfy and easy. I don’t want to pack multiple items for going out to a nice restaurant with my husband, sight-seeing, and long walks. I want an item that can “do it all!”
Your blog has already helped me to pack items that I can wear in multiple ways, for multiple purposes. In fact, I have a final draft of a packing list for my trip this summer: Spain, Portugal, France, and Switzerland. My pants so far are a pair of skinny jeans, the Athleta slim dipper in black, and just today I was looking at your blog for advice on that final pair of pants. The Navy Kate pants (size L) would round out my wardrobe perfectly, and fit already with my color scheme! I would use them for day hikes in Switzerland, Tapas bars in Madrid, sight-seeing the Alhambra, and wine tasting in Bordeaux. The light fabric and color would work so well with the sleeveless tops I’m already bringing for comfort and style.
I have backpacked in India, Southeast Asia, Central & South America but this is the first big trip to Europe. As a 30-something headed toward a more fashionable destination, I’ve been nervous about what to pack. The Kate pants would fit my needs and be a staple of the outfit. Thanks for your consideration and best wishes with the contest!

Hi! I would make an AWESOME contributor for TGF this summer because I am traveling to so many places with one carry-on only! I would love to bring a youthful voice to the crowd with my review. I am also a wannabe photographer, as I was raised by one, so snapping pictures in these pants certainly won’t be anything close to a chore. I plan to document my adventures thoroughly so I’ll always have my camera ready!
As a 23 year old I would ADORE the opportunity to enjoy these seemingly perfect travel pants that I only dream about having a chance to wear! I think an XL pair of grey Susan OR Kate Anatomie pants would fit my tall, curvy and athletic body perfectly. I am spending 6 weeks city-hopping in Europe. My destinations range from the laid back Grecian Islands to quaint Dutch towns to stylish and chic Monaco.
These pants would be perfect because I can pack one pair to meet so many needs! Their quick drying, wrinkle resistant fabric would be perfect for my tiny carry on holding 6 weeks of belongings. I will only have access to laundry machines once or twice during my trip so hand washing is what I am going to be all about! I plan to use packing cubes but having one pair of TRULY versatile and stylish pants would be amazing. I love that they’re beautiful enough to dress up and rock at a nice dinner, or relaxed enough to throw on some hiking boots and spend an entire camping trip in them! It doesn’t hurt that they’re long enough to go into temples and churches too 😉
My itinerary is as follows!
Athens
Mykonos
Athens
Pompeii
Rome
Florence
Venice
Munich
Prague
Nuremberg/Heidelberg
Amsterdam
Bruges
Paris
French Riviera
Barcelona
Possibly somewhere else…(open to ANY suggestions!!! I have one week unplanned!)
London
Depart London back to ATL
I am spending a total of 35 days away from home (and my kitten 🙁 ) and that is the longest trip I have ever been on! I have all of my fingers crossed that I can add some of these AMAZEBALLS pants to both my travel and everyday wardrobe. Best of luck to everyone! I do hope I win but I can’t wait to see everyone’s reviews regardless!!
Thank you for the opportunity!
Margaret
Oh!! And I have EXTREMELY FAIR and sensitive skin so its incredibly attractive that these pants are protectant against dreaded sunburns!! 🙂 Thanks, again.
The Celine pants in gray (medium size) look like they would be a great addition to my travel wardrobe!
I’m heading to Boston, Cozumel, and California over the summer. With such a variety of locations, I would love to see how the pants can be adjusted for different climates and fashions. They look very versatile so I would definitely test that! I travel pretty frequently and am always on the lookout for comfortable, functional, versatile, and attractive clothing items. It’s usually hard to find all of those in one piece!
I would be honored to be an Anatomie contributor for TFG! I stumbled across TFG just a month or so ago and I am hooked and inspired! At 4’11, I think that that Celine pant (navy in XS) would be a great fit being a cropped pant with a skinny leg. What more could I want?
So where am I headed off to this June? Well, after much deliberation and tears, I am leaving my post as a stay-at-home mother (SAHM) to two young boys as I make a 15 day pilgrimage in Israel. Normally I am a big time overpacker, but seeing as this is a pilgrimage that I am going on, I am striving to keep every simple and classic so I can pack as minimally as possible. It’s time to turn over a new leaf! (I have downloaded your packing lists and I am ready!) I have had my eye on these pants since I stayed up late one night, reading post after post on your blog; however, I refrained due to the price. But I was convinced that they were exactly what I need!
Traveling through Israel in June, I suspect that these pants would serve me well! Lightweight, quick-drying and exceptional comfort are just the qualities I am looking for. And when I return, I know they will be durable enough to keep up with two rambunctious boys who love to run around and get dirty. Who knows what next adventure these pants could take me on?!
Hi Alex! I think I would make an awesome Anatomie contributor for TFG because I pay attention to detail. For instance I have been planning every detail of our 29 day trip to Europe for the last year. My husband and I are taking our 10 year old son and 13 year old daughter to visit their grandparents who retired to Denia, Spain two years ago. We will be visiting the South of France, Tuscany, Rome, and Northeastern Spain, including Barcelona. I found TFG last fall and have been following you ever since! Thank you for the motivation to pack light, we are all each bringing a European size carry-on (21 x 15 x 7) and using packing cubes as well. We are each bringing 15 pieces of clothing and so each piece needs to be versatile and stylish, it is Europe after all!! That is why I NEED, NEED the Celine pant in a size large, I prefer black. I have tried about 6 other pairs of Black pants including another popular travel brand, sadly they have all gone back to the store. They are just not what I am looking for. I want something I can throw on with my flats and a cute top during the day and dress up in the evening with cute sandals, a dressy top and jewelry and Anatomie is the winner and hopefully so am I !!!! Please pick me to represent the Celine pant.
I would love to have the Paola pants in black and a size Large to wear and write about this summer! I will be going to The Netherlands, France, and Germany this June where I will need versatile clothing that can take me anywhere from a three-hour flight to city sightseeing to a wedding (!) to traveling in an RV with my husband, daughter, and my husband’s parents. We will be packing carry-on only for the whole family, so versatility and durability are key factors for choosing what clothes to bring along. That’s also a requirement for the rest of my wardrobe, since I participate in Project 333. Right now my closet lacks a good pair of black slacks and I feel that the Anatomie Paola pants would fill that gap perfectly.
I am traveling by myself for the first time this summer! I leave for Germany for 7 weeks, on an exchange program for my Masters in Economics. I am beyond excited about traveling abroad; I plan on making the most of my weekends and travel throughout Europe. One of my destinations in Cinque Terre, Italy! I can absolutely see myself in the Susan pants (small, black) while hiking the trails connecting five fishing villages on the coast of Italy. I have a few other destinations in mind (Croatia, Switzerland, Belgium), but I definitely will visit Norway and do some more hiking along the fjords!
I would make an awesome Anatomie contributor for TFG this summer because I’m pushing myself out of my comfort zone; not only do I want to document my summer, regardless of being chosen or not, but I want to look stylish while doing it (thank you TFG for the endless articles on how to become a better, more stylish packer – and for helping me take productive study breaks during finals!), and I can’t think of better pants for the job!
I’m an absolute adventure nut and this summer I’ll be hiking, diving, and trekking, exploring mountains, jungles, beaches, and ancient cities across two continents, so I’d be keen to put a pair of these travel pants that I keep hearing so much about to the test in various activities. I’ll also be documenting my travels on my blog, Gallivant Girl. I’ll be on the road for a few months, so I’d be stoked to add a new comfy, lightweight pair of pants to the packing list.
The plan? For a month, I’ll be travelling in Europe, before heading over to South America for a few months overland from Colombia to Argentina! I’d love to get my hands on a pair of Kate skinny pants in black, size small. Cheers!
I would KILL (metaphorically…maybe) for a pair of the Bianca pants, in an XL in the color pictured. Not only do I feel that, as a plus sized traveler, I would add a voice to Travel Fashion Girl that is perhaps under-represented, but I would also represent a demographic that is yet to be tapped: archaeologists!
I recently earned my MA in Archaeology, with a special focus on the Maya. This means that I spend my summers living, working and traveling in the jungles of Central America. This year I’ll be spending a month in a biological preserve in Belize, living in extremely rugged conditions. What people don’t realize about archaeology is that work clothes are functional, but hideous. When we’re working, we’re ugly and we KNOW we’re ugly. We embrace this ugliness, as it is our only defense against the forces of nature and the usual ancient evils that we tend to unearth. But when we get back to camp, feeling not-ugly is the only thing that reminds us that we’re actual human beings! I believe that a pair of Bianca’s may just be my solution to being not-ugly this summer.
But of course, not-ugliness is only the first element of the tripartite rules of pant desirability. The region of Belize I’ll be working and living in is also home to a traditional community of Menonites, who have very strict principles when it comes to modesty. When I hop in the bed of a truck and bump down a dirt road to the general store I need to emerge tastefully, elegantly and fully clothed. So my pants absolutely must be durable enough to withstand rough treatment without succumbing to rips or tears in modesty-compromising locations. Given what I’ve read on Travel Fashion Girl about the Anatomie line, I believe that the Bianca pant is the ultimate solution to my dilemma: durable, modest and decidedly not-ugly.
I love all of these pants, I would have to choose the Paola black XL for my trip to Finland this summer – I find wide waistbands to be so universally flattering. I am taking a two week course course there in August, so while I need to look professional during the day I will be heading out on the evenings and weekends to see the nightlife and nature scene, and I’m intrigued to see if these pants hold up as well as you say! I will be traveling to France and possibly Budapest afterwards to see friends. I’m doing my masters thesis and generally a good, funny writer, so hopefully if I win there will be less editing for you 🙂 Being somewhat plus size, I also feel I can add a whole new dimension to not just fashion, but travel fashion for plus sized ladies. I was happy to see Anatomie also does custom sizing, which is heartening.
Hi everyone!
I’m a travel and personal style blogger (fairly new but growing quickly) and have such a strong passion for traveling and believe that what you wear during your memories is a HUGE part of the experience! I would love to be able to create beautiful images wearing the cute pant while I am in GREECE (Santorini, Mykonos) this summer. Experiencing the culture and seeing the gorgeous scenery for the first time will be very special to me which makes for a passionate and lively review! I am a big fan of the Celine pant, it’s chic and timeless. I also equally love the Bianca, to me it’s the most unique and I would style either in a very feminine way (ideas brewing already — such as how to transform the pants from a “day” to “dinner/night” look). I always create mood boards to plan outfits and this is a big part of my blog — I would also be very timely with the deadlines, and happily coordinate with your team on simultaneous social media buzz. I have over 1200 wonderful followers on Instagram (@stephcarnahan) and would love to include them on this journey with Anatomie!

I love your website and constantly use your tips. Keep up the great work!
I was married recently this last January and my husband and I are traveling to Italy for our honeymoon. In addition to celebrating our marriage, we will be celebrating our college graduation. We will be visiting Rome, Assisi, Florence, Lido Di Jesolo, and Venice. As much as I’ve wanted to in the past, I have never traveled out of the country, so this will be my first international excursion. Needless to say, I’m very excited! However, due to my lack of traveling, I am having considerable difficulty deciding on what to pack. I place a lot of value on fashion and comfort. As a result, I think these Anatomie travel pants are perfect for me. My selection would be the dark gray Kate pants in large. One of the things that interest me most about this clothing is the versatility feature. Not only will I be able to wear them on my travels, but to work as well! To achieve maximum exposure of these travel pants, I plan to wear them at the airports and while sightseeing. On a side note, I am also traveling to Jerusalem in October and will get even more exposure there. These pants would be perfect in this modest environment. Italy will also be a modest environment as we plan to visit many religious sites. The Anatomie pants will offer conservative yet fashionable and chic coverage. Who wouldn’t want to be fashionable in one of the greatest fashion capitals in the world? As a regular on this blog, I have found that these pants are essential to the traveler and I would love to have a pair!
I am going on a trip to Italy on June 9th for two weeks with my husband on our honeymoon. We will be visiting Rome, Assisi, Florence, Lido Di Jesolo, and Venice. This trip is perfect timing because not only will we be celebrating our wedding, but our graduation from college as well. As much as I have longed to do so in the past, I have never been able to travel out of the country before, so this will be my first international excursion. I am very excited! As you can imagine, due to my lack of traveling, I am having considerable difficulty deciding what to pack. I place a high value on comfort and fashion. As a result, I think these Anatomie travel pants would be the perfect fit. My selection would be the dark gray Kate in medium. What’s the most intriguing feature of these pants is the versatility. Not only would I be able to wear them on my travels, but to work as well. To achieve maximum exposure of these pants, I plan to wear them not only at the airports but as I sightsee as well. On a side note, I am traveling to Jerusalem in October and think these pants would be excellent on the trip. The pants would fit the modesty requirement of the environment without a problem. However, Italy will also be a modest environment, as we plan to visit many religious sites. My knees will be covered and I’ll be fashionable at the same time! Who wouldn’t want to be fashionable in one of the greatest fashion capitals of the world? As a regular on this blog, I have discovered that the Anatomie clothing is a must have for a travel wardrobe and I’d love to have a pair!
I just got married this last January and will be traveling on a honeymoon with my husband to Italy on June 9th. We will be seeing Rome, Assisi, Florence, Venice, and Lido Di Jesolo. This trip is perfect timing because not only will we be celebrating our marriage, but will be celebrating our graduation from college as well. I have never traveled out of the country before so I’m very anxious to go on my first international excursion. As you can imagine, due to my lack of traveling experience, I am having some issues deciding what to pack. I’ve been eyeing these pants for a long time, thinking they’d be a wonderful addition to not only my travel wardrobe, but everyday wardrobe as well. My selection would be the gray Kate travel pant in medium, as these are versatile enough that I could wear them for my job as well. Comfort is very important to me, but so is fashion. Therefore, these pants fit the bill perfectly. My travels would allow for maximum exposure of the Anatomie clothing while wearing the pants at the airports and around Italy. On a side note, to ensure even more exposure, I am traveling to Jerusalem in October and think these pants would be excellent , as they fit the modesty requirement of the environment. However, Italy is also a modest environment with all the religious sites we will be visiting. These pants are the perfect item for this circumstance because they would cover the knees and be fashionable at the same time! Who wouldn’t want to be fashionable in one of the greatest fashion capitals of the world? From what I’ve been reading on this blog, these pants are essential to the travel wardrobe, and I’d love to have a pair!
TFG, I love this contest! I’ve had my eye on Anatomie pants every since reading your post on the Skyler. And this contest couldn’t come at a more perfect time for me….read on and you’ll find out why.
My boyfriend and I have been traveling since mid-January throughout Southeast Asia, and have been loving it…the food, the culture, the people..all amazing. Unfortunately a few weeks ago, I had an accident in Bali that required emergency surgery on my knee, both hands and feet, thigh and forearm.
We thought we might have end our trip and go back home early, which would have been a true disappointment, but as it turns out, I am recovering swiftly and ready to “get back on that horse.” And I need a new pair of pants to do it! 🙂 I love wearing pants and despite the hot temperatures in SE Asia, I wear pants almost every day. What I was wearing the day of the accident was shredded to pieces and the other pants I’ve been wearing are too rigid for my recovering knee. Your contest is great timing!
I would be an awesome contributor to TFG to spread the word about Anatomie’s pants because I will basically do everything in them. Being a backpacker, I am limited to the space I have and the weight I can carry on my back, therefore I need a pair of pants that can do it all, day and night. Also, now that I have this injury, I need something that is more flexible and breathable than jeans. Stylish, and quick drying doesn’t hurt either 🙂
At the beginning of June we will leave Bali and return to our journey through August: Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan, Turkey, Lebanon, London and Amsterdam. I would love to put the Susan pants (size M, navy) to the test….long bus rides, hikes, temples, evening beach strolls, yoga, site seeing (ooh I can already imagine a photo in front of the beautiful Hagia Sofia in Turkey or in the lush green rice terraces of the Philippines!), sushi dinners with friends, boat rides, scuba diving — ok maybe diving is going a bit too far 🙂 But truly, the pants seem perfect to do all the rest!
Thanks for reading my entry. I can’t wait to take these Anatomie pants all over the map and share my experiences. I am certain I will do both TFG and Anatomie proud. Cheers!
It’s a fact, I NEED these pants!
I’ve been an avid traveller since the age of sixteen. I’ve also been an ugly traveller since the age of sixteen. Until recently, I never thought about what I looked like when I travelled. My travel wardrobe focused on what was convenient and not what looked fashionable. I’d pack a half dozen outfits, each shirt strategically paired up with each bottom. One pair of shoes and a trusty set of flip flops! Add in my basic make up pack and I was ready. Ugh, I cringe!
I need the Susan in medium black to help me look cool, confident…and stylish. I can see them paired with a tunic and a scarf for the plane, then with a hoodie for a hike and then with a coral blazer for a night out.
Oooops! I forgot to add that I’m headed to Central America this summer (I know, what a time to go!).
I’m an adventurer, photographer, traveller and social media connoisseur (chosen to be part of the 101 Human Brochure campaign), and I regularly write about my Australian and international travels on my blog as a means of procrastinating from my PhD candidature in English Literature! This “summer” I’ll be hiking and snowshoeing across the infamous Overland Track of Tasmania, there is no doubt that the Fiora pants would make life easier. Medium size, and black to stand out against the glorious snowy antipodean landscape, I would be rocking the colonial town of Hobart or skiing in the back country.
I would love to try this brand.
I’m 52 and newly retired. My husband and I travel half the year or more, either in our motorhome or internationally. I’ve enjoyed reading TravelFashionGirl and have incorporated many of the suggestions into my travel packing.
We’ll be off to England for two months in the spring, and I’m determined to take only a carryon.
We’ll see how it goes!
We are heading to Scotland, London and Dublin in June/July. The preparations have been intense; my classic travel packing list was developed based on the world according to Alex, my clothes have been laid out in the spare bedroom since September (but have gone through hundreds of substitutions and edits and there will likely be more) and my Osprey Farpoint 40 backpack just arrived today from Amazon (so happy with it!).
I used the Perfect Pant Picker on the Anatomie website to help me make my travel pant choice and the winner was Celine in Navy, size Large. They would be perfect for the flight over (hey I sense what would be picture number one) as well as hiking on the Isle of Skye, touring Edinburgh Castle, attending a play while in London and doing a pub crawl in Dublin. It would be an incredible opportunity to write a review (and, oh yeah, win free pants!).
I would be the perfect contributor for the Bianca pants (medium black). I am going to spend this year kicking back at the cottage in Northern Ontario and stay-cationing by our pool. I think these pants would be perfect to pull on a lounge around at the cottage, wear at night by the pool when entertaining friends or going into the little town by the cottage for an intimate dinner at our favorite little restaurant. When trying to pack up the car to travel with 4 kids less is always a requirement. You don’t need to travel far to need a great pair of “go to” pants.
I NEED a good pair of travel pants! I’d like Paola medium size in Navy blue, please!
But seriously, it would be nice to read some travel blog entries written by someone who isn’t what I call a “professional traveler”. Many of the travel blogs I keep an eye on are written by people who make a living by traveling and through their blog. I work in healthcare and I love my job, but I also love to travel and see new things. In a few days I’m leaving on a 2 week trip to Europe and later this summer I’m headed on a weeklong family get-away. Earlier this year I’ve had to do some travel for business and found the tips I learned on TFG to be helpful in that regards as well.
My personal goal is to be able to take a “big” international trip every 2 years and go on a “big” domestic trip in between. (There’s a lot of America I’ve seen, and even more I haven’t!) I think I could contribute by providing tips/tricks for the young professional wanting to make the occasional get-away: strategic saving, make the most out of PTO & holiday schedules, and I can probably contribute some examples of what NOT to do. (Flip flops on a Danube river cruise in early May for example!)
I would choose the Paola, but can’t see what size as I can’t find the size chart, but am a size 12/14 in pants. I would love to win, as a boomer travel, I want to look cool. I am a huge traveler, and have already been to Charleston, SC and Annapolis, MD in the past 2 months. This summer, I am going to the beach in July, for a weekend, then to Wells Beach, Maine, for a week in Aug. Then back to SC in Oct. I might also travel to Denver this summer, or next fall, and the Antomie pants would be fanastic for that trip.
This pants look amazing, but frankly, as a retiree, who spends every penny I can save, on travel, I can’t afford $186 for these pants. Thanks for your consideration.
I would make an excellent Anatomie contributor for TFG because I am all for comfortable style when I’m traveling! I’ve become ambitious about learning to pack much lighter while traveling and I could combine that with the experience of the Anatomie pants. I would love to try the Paola in a small black.
Unfortunately, this contributor contest ends after I begin my 3.5 week trip to Europe (Maybe they could be express mailed to me while over there ;)!). It would have been awesome to test them out there and on the long flights as it will be business and tourism. However, I am still doing a couple other, smaller, trips this summer! First off, have a 10-year-reunion (Yikes!) scheduled which will be a weekend of camping at the lake. It will include a drive to Vegas (we fly out here) and a flight to our destination. This would be a perfect time to test the durability of Anatomie pants! The other trip will be to Yosemite, again driving there. We will stay in a hotel or cabin for this trip (tent for the reunion), and we will hit up a couple restaurants as well. Therefore, the pants can be put to the test getting a little dressier for dining and then also for hiking and sightseeing. I think my trips would be a great contribution to testing the durability and ease of keeping clean with the Anatomie pants. Thank you for the opportunity! I look forward to the winner announcements and then all of the review posts!
Love this giveaway!
I would be the perfect Anatomie traveling pants (this totally makes me think of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants…) contributor because I will be on the road consistently for the next 6 months on the second leg of our RTW adventures. Not only that but I have just expanded my business to include travel planning and one of the things people are always asking is what to pack? Usually I send them your way but it would be great if I could share my opinion firsthand too! I only travel with a carry-on sized backpack (although it ends up weighing too much to actually carry-on when our laptops are included…darn weight limits) and each piece of clothing that goes into my bag has to be perfect.
We will be traveling to London –> Morocco –> Slovenia –> South & Eastern Africa (Safari time, can’t wait), Turkey, Croatia, and potentially Egypt.
I’d love a pair of the black Paola pants in Size L.
Can’t wait to hear all of the unique reviews of these pants!!
This would be a wonderful oppertunity to try these out in our South African end of winter weather, and be a contributor to TFG. As i am short , the Anatomie Celine in XL ( hip measurement 42 / 122cm ) would be perfect , in black, they wouldnt require having to take the hem up !!! Us shorties always have to remove most of our trousers for them to fit. We will be travelling through the Winelands of the Cape up through to the coast of Knysna up the N2 . We will be stopping over at cities and towns of Sedgefield, George, MosselBay , visiting the Barthamew Dia museum and the Post Stone where the saliors of the 17 th century left messages for passing ships.
It would be great to see how they wear both out doors and in doors as a “smart ” wear item in the evenings. it would be great to see how they wash and wear on the road, there are 4 of us on the road trip and we have to pack light. i really wish we could buy these awesome pants here in SA but if i get a chance to review these maybe ther wpuld be some one who would like to bring these to our safari loving country. We arrive back at the end of August .
July is the time for our journey to the USA from our ‘home’ country of Argentina!! I will be traveling with my husband and two young daughters. With two kids and more than 24 hours of travel time and three airplanes in each direction, I need comfortable, functional pants that still have a great style and can stand up to lots of abuse from sticky little hands and faces, not to mention potential spills and whatever else travel can throw at me! The Paula style (so classic. These are perfect go-to pants for all occasions) or Fiora style (love those pockets- imagine all the stuff I could pack in there!) in size L, color black would be perfect for me. I am 5′-10″ and need a longer inseam than the other styles offer.
We’re expats living in South America for the last 5 years. Our trip to the USA via Lima and Miami to Minneapolis is a journey of love to visit grandparents and reconnect with family and friends. There will be picnics and fireworks, hiking and hanging out. We will be be busy for the short time we are there, soaking in every minute of our time together as a family.
I traveled extensively before kids and this is much more difficult – and rewarding; to show them the world and see the wonder and awe in their eyes as they see an incredible waterfall, make new friends, eat foods unlike anything they’ve ever had. I would love to be an Anatomie Ambassador, and in fact, you will have two little ones helping me review these incredible travel pants. Thank you for the opportunity, Alex and Anatomie!!!
Hello everyone! I would be honored to be an awesome Anatomie contributor for TFG during my travels this summer because it is my absolute strongest passion to travel and believe that what you wear and how you style yourself is a key part in the experience and memories. I have a travel blog all about my personal style from my travels after many new Instagram followers began asking me where I buy my clothes and and for travel tips. Nothing is more rewarding than inspiring my readers to think outside the box with style on their vacation, and to more importantly — get out and see our beautiful world! I have over 1200 followers on Instagram and this grows everyday! I will be featuring the pant on my social media accounts as well in coordination with your team.
I love the Celine pant, as it’s super classy and chic, but I would be equally happy with the Bianca as it’s sort of unique and I could swing a Boho-chic style with that one. I am grateful for the chance to provide stunning imagery from Santorini wearing the cute pant along with fun review!
I am traveling to Greece (Mykonos, Athens and Santorini). The scenery and culture there seem breathtaking and I can’t wait to experience it for the first time.
Thank you for your consideration!
Warmly,
Stephanie

I am a recovering over packer/giant bag hauler using the Travel Girl website to channel my inner Travel Girl and take only a carry-on to Spain for a 10 day vacation this summer. My husband isn’t convinced that I can pack so few items and still look presentable for our post trip photo book that he creates after each vacation. I am a stubborn gal and always up for a challenge 🙂 I’ve been carefully picking pieces to mix and match along with a few accent pieces for color. Two days after arriving home from Spain, I pack my bag again and head to Washington, DC for a Bachelorette party, then Louisville KY for a wedding followed by a business trip to Orlando all in the month of JUNE!! The attire for these three trips couldn’t be more diverse (for me at least!) and my goal is to keep my basic pieces the same and change out a few key items and accessories to meet the needs of each my trips: European summer vacation, girl’s night out, business, and rehearsal dinner for a wedding. How exciting to have the opportunity to style the Paola pants in a size medium during my first attempt at travelling “Travel Girl” style! I look forward to the chance to share my experience along with my packing list and outfits with your readers. Thank you, Karalee
The Susan pants in medium black will be the perfect company for my East Coast adventures this summer. I’ll be spending time in North Carolina (beaches and mountains), moving to Washington DC and then exploring the mountains and the city of New York, giving Susan the perfect opportunity to prove herself in varied settings. I love sharing what I’m doing, and you’ll get beautiful photos of fantastic pants and wonderful places if I win.
We just moved out of state from our family so we have been traveling a TON the last 6 months. We actually just got home from a road trip last night and then we are going on another trip in less than a month and then another one a month after that! I love the Bianca style! Looks so comfy but still super cute! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

Hello Alex,
I think that I would make a good candidate for this contest because I travel a lot and and always want to do it in style! If I were fortunate enough to be selected I would choose the Susan in size small and color Navy. I think they would work the best for the places I plan to see and the activities I am about to embark upon. I will be leaving Texas, traveling to Alaska where I will hike, fish, and have many social outings with friends and family. Then I will travel to South Carolina where I will teach a summer energy education class to teachers and see the local Charleston sights. After a brief stop back in Texas, I will head for Europe where I will make stops in Paris, Edinburgh, St. Andrews, Ireland and Amsterdam. While in the EU I will take part in many touristy activities and shopping, while my hubby golfs, as well as more elegant social affairs in the evening.
It’s going to be an exciting summer and I think I could highlight the Anatomie pants in many flattering ways. I hope you give me the opportunity to do so but, you have your work cut out for you in making this tough decision!
Best regards,
k
I would love to take Fiora (gray, L) with me on my road trip through Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. Our photo shoots will be in spectacular, diverse locations: Colorado’s rocky mountain forests, Southern Utah’s red rock country, downtown Salt Lake City and two other serendipitous locations. Fiora would hike, go horseback riding, sightsee and have her patience and flexibility tested during many hours in the car. She’ll get tired and dirty but I have the impression that she’s just like me: clean us up and we look great and are eager for the next adventure to begin.
Oh Anatomie pants, how I would love to bring you along with me on my whirlwind journey this summer!
I’ve been longing for a pair of these ultimate travel pants ever since I read TFG’s review of the Skyler pant. Over the past few months I’ve been endlessly researching how to pack for my upcoming trip in June and finding myself overwhelmed by the diverse mix of destinations. In the span of an amazing two weeks, I will be soaking in the culture and beauty of Paris, London, Dubai, and Nairobi. Narrowing down a packing list that will fit in a 60L backpack while still allowing me to be fashionable in Paris, respectful in Dubai, safari-ready in Nairobi, and super comfortable on multiple flights has proven quite the challenge! But the Susan pant in Khaki (XL) would be the perfect solution to my packing dilemma. The slim tailored fit and zipper details would look fabulous with a pair of flats or ankle booties for sight seeing during the day or dressed up with a nice pair of sandals for a special evening out. The breathable, quick drying material in a neutral khaki color will be perfect for those hot game drives and bush walks through the Maasai Mara. And of course, the lightweight stretchy material will be awesome for those long flights!
As a blogger, I love documenting life through words and pictures. I’d love to take TFG’s readers along with me (and a pair of awesome Anatomie pants!) on a trip of a lifetime this summer. Thank you Alex for the opportunity!

She would get tired and dirty but I have the impression that she’s just like me – clean her up and she looks great and be up for more adventures.
I would make an awesome contributor for TFG because my interests when traveling are so broad: from sporting events, to beaches, to art exhibits, to dancing the night away at concerts, to family dinners, my itineraries usually cover it all! This summer is no different. I’ll be heading to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a week of vacation and to celebrate the 4th of July in classic American style. I need a versatile wardrobe for a pretty broad range of activities: a Milwaukee Brewers game; concert-going at Summerfest, one of the world’s biggest music festivals; a trip to the beach at Lake Michigan; a visit to the Kandinsky exhibit at the Milwaukee Art Museum; and, of course, a classic 4th of July fireworks display and family barbecue.
I think the Celine pant in medium gray would be perfect for my travels!
I would love to become a contributor for Anatomie. I would love to test it in real conditions and see if really you can wear travel pants and still looks feminine. Ice on the cake, I think this competition could not become at a better time for me.
I have a range of travels planned this summer, and the pair of pans will have to be of really good quality to make it through still alive! Do you think the Anatomie pants can make it through camping in the Norwegian fjords, road trip in Normady, partying in Paris, backpacking in Colombia coffee region, trekking in the Amazon forest, exploring the Galapagos and trekking Macchu Picchu? It is the ultimate test!
I am currently finishing my assignment as digital product manager and will go on a career break for 6 months starting in January, so here is in details where and when I will take the Anatomie pants:
May 28 – June 2: Norwegian fjords with my younger brother
June 10- June 14: Normandy road trip with my former cool nanny (she is 82!)
June 20 – June 22: Paris – meeting friends and enjoying the free music street festival “Fete de la Musique”
June 26: Flying to Cartagena, Colombia to start the 6 months backpacking trip in South America with the boyfriend
July: Colombia (trekking to ciudad perdida, exploring coffee region and trendy restaurant in Bogota)
August: Galapagos cruise and Ecuador, with both beach and Andes trekking
September- December: trip continues via Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, to end up “at the end of the world”, in Patagonia!
Honestly, I always had pre-conceived opinion about these kind of pants (is it not for older women??? – I am 27) but with the different models, I realized there is something for everyone. As I wear slim jeans on a daily basis, the Paola Anatomie pants black in size Small would seem like the perfect pants to replace my lovely bootcut slim jeans during the travel. Also, it would be nice to have not only trekking pants as I will travel with my boyfriend and want to stay sexy!
Make it to be a fun and stylish summer!
Hi! I’ve been lusting after some Anatomie travel pants since your first feature on them last year! This summer, besides doing a number of local explorations in New England where I live and wearing these pants to work, I will be wearing them on my travels to France for the Bordeaux Wine Festival, Croatia for some explorations of national parks and Hideout music festival, and Istanbul in June/July. This would be a perfect opportunity to test out these pants in some very different settings! Professional, classy, relaxed, hiking, and modest city explorations in a hot setting. I need versatility and reliability in my clothing and being comfortable while looking put together is my style, both at home and while traveling.
I can handle the challenge of being critical, honest, and writing a great review of these pants because of my experience blogging about my travels. Check out my blog at http://slowmotiondoesntexist.wordpress.com/. It’s not a famous or huge blog, I use it to “take notes” on what I do and where I go when traveling. I was also chosen to contribute to the API Blog while studying abroad in Spain http://blog.apistudyabroad.com/tag/gabby-jockers/. I know how to keep to deadlines and provide a high quality product. With a day job in sales, I am a natural advocate for the things I love and believe in! When I love a brand, the whole world knows and people trust me to only put my word behind something I have tested thoroughly and truly believe in. As you can see from my blog posts, I love taking pictures and writing in a way that makes the reader feel like they’re on my journey with me, or so my readers have told me!
As for the pants themselves, I love the cut and style of the Susan (medium)! I love that it has plenty of pockets and that they’re zippered to protect the contents from straying hands/falling out. One of my pet peeves is how nobody makes good pockets on women’s pants! I like both the khaki and the black, but the black would probably be better in terms of versatility.
This is a wonderful opportunities you’re giving your readers, thanks for holding this contest! I have been using the advice I picked up here to convert to packing carry on only. I was even able to pack carry-on only for a multi-climate winter trip starting in Florida at the beach and ending in Italy for some skiing and London for some city explorations. 🙂
I would make an awesome Anatomie contributor for TFG because I will be traveling for 5 weeks this summer in South America. We are traveling light with tips from TFG! I would love to have the Paola pants in size large and in black. They will allow me to tour the city of Panama, Peru, and then in Chile. I feel that they will be good for both climates, hot and cold. I will be able to wear them multiple times and still be comfortable in them. Traveling light means I have to be able to roll up my clothes to make them small and since these don’t wrinkle, they are perfect! I love to make cute outfits and I think these pants would be a great addition to my travel clothes!
Oh how fun! I’m a Susan (Medium) all the way; classic, clean lines and no fuss. I would love to be a contributor this summer. With travels including a week at the beach in Mexico, a stop at the Four Seasons in Scottsdale with my kiddos, Minneapolis, MN, and Telluride, CO before a few weeks in Africa followed by a short trip to Greece, these pants will see a wide range of destinations and airport terminals before fall arrives!
By sharing a variety of destinations and looks with the busy moms who I influence and inspire every day to live richly and travel more, I can help spread the word about this awesome brand. I look forward to working with Anatomie and TFG!!
Hi Alex! I have traveled so much over the last year, overseas and stateside, and every time I’ve packed, I’ve thought about “those pants Alex raves about”. I’d love to try them out on my next trip–a 2-week drive from hot humid east coast US to arid hot California desert. I I would try the Fiora in medium gray, because HOT weather predicted. I will have minimal clothing and no chance to wash them, so multipurpose is key. Thanks to this site, I’ve learned to do this and to pack successfully into a small carryon Osprey backpack. Love this site and community; it’s helpful, and fun when you’re not on the go to live vicariously through others!
I came across TFG when looking for advice on how to pack. I’m so glad to have landed here! Even more so, I have absolutely fallen in love with the Paola (small, black) travel pants! I got one of the (very limited in Austria) working holiday visas for New Zealand, so from end of June – end of December I will be travelling around Aotearoa 🙂 The Anatomie travel pants will take me from Auckland to Hobbiton to Lake Rotorua and more in style, day and night. As I will be working during my time in New Zealand, the Paola pants would be perfect to take me from backpacker girl to business style as well. I feel that they would be a key item for my time in New Zealand, and I would love to share with other travellers how versatile these pants are. My travel blog is in the making and if I were to win a pair of these amazing pants they would feature in it very heavily.
I have been working, saving, and planning this trip for almost two years. Being one of the lucky winners and receiving a pair of Paola pants would be the absolute cherry on top. This is going to be the trip of a lifetime, something that I have been dreaming of doing for a very, very long time (some days I still can’t believe that I’m actually going!) and I really want to be stylish on that trip 🙂
xo
Hey Alex!
I would love the opportunity to be an Anatomie contributor this summer for TFG, while I rock an XL black pair of the Paola Travel Pants around Europe this August! I will be spending two weeks (August 8- August 23) on an around the continent trip, starting in Iceland and ending in London with my boyfriend, and we are doing it carry on only (using many of your ideas might I add!) thus making every item we bring crucial! It will be a whirlwind with stops in Reykjavik, Oslo, Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest & London with a combination of flight, train & bus travel thus “testing” the pants out in all situations.
Other than our big August trip, I also have quite a few other trips planned this summer around the United States, including a few work trips to Philadelphia/DC from NYC (where I live) & a family vacation to California!
As a contributor I think I would be able to give honest feedback for the pants in all situations and would be able to provide lots on insight on how they fit, feel, travel & wash.
Thanks again for the opportunity & good luck!!
Cheers
Anatomie Contest Application:
I believe I would make an awesome Anatomie contributor for TFG during my travels to France this summer from June 24, 2014-July 29, 2014, because I will be using a variety of methods of travel: plane, high speed rail, regular rail, metro, walking (possibly boat, bus, car and bike as well), and I will also be staying at various types of locations (big city and small city) in various roles – both as a tourist and as a student. It will be a very immersive experience.
I will be in Paris at the beginning and end of my approximately 5 week stay in France. Upon arrival I will stay for 4 days at the Hotel Arbor Saint-George in the Paris 9th arrondissement and prior to departure I will be at the Hotel Luxembourg Parc in the Paris 6th arrondissement. I also have a 30 day French Rail Pass and a 4 day Museum pass, so at the beginning of my stay I plan to tour the sights of Paris including the Musee’ du Louvre, Musee’ Bartholdi, the Fragonard Museum, and other hot spots such as the Eiffel Tower, the Avenue des Champs-Elysées as well as lesser known local spots such as the best falafel place in Paris, L’A’s Du Falafel, Shakespeare and Company Bookstore, Club Six Seven, and for dinner, Hotel Amour (a hip renovated brothel). On my second stay in Paris, at the end of my trip, I plan to take it easier, perhaps just enjoying walking through Luxembourg Gardens and along the Seine, going to Lovers’ Lock Bridge, as well as taking a day trip to the Château de Versailles where I hope to tour the palace as well as view the nighttime fireworks and fountain show. During the 4 weeks between my stays in Paris I will be in Strasbourg, France where I will be completing an advance program of study in international and comparative human rights law as elective credit for my JD (Juris Doctor) program at Trinity Law School. This Summer International Human Rights Program is funded by Pulitzer prize money and is taught by leading academics and practitioners from around the world. I will be going as part of a contingent from my law school & the course is in conjunction with the IIDH (Institut International des Droits de L’Homme) located in Strasbourg. This year the theme for the summer program will be International Human Rights & Sports in honor of it being an Olympic and World Cup year. In fact, the World Cup will be reaching completion while the program is running so current topics from Brazil will likely be covered in detail. For my studies on Monday-Thursday, I will need to be comfortable but still look professional. Additionally, part of the Strasbourg program includes visits to the official seat of the European Parliament, the Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights where we will witness a trial, so I will need travel clothing that looks tailored and can be worn with comfortable shoes. While in Strasbourg I will be staying at Le Stift dormitory, a renovated chateau, for 4 weeks, and living as close to a local as I can; doing my best to use my conversational french to buy fresh produce in the market – to prepare in the Le Stift dormitory kitchen, so during these free times I will dress down my clothes perhaps with ballet flats or sandals and more casual shirts and a scarf. I will also need to travel light with all the time spend in transit, so I will need quality clothes that can go the distance and stand up to frequent washings and still look nice enough to add heels to for a reception with the Mayor of Strasbourg or other planned events we will attend. I will also be taking day trips over the weekends to various locations nearby in Alsace including charming Colmar along the Alsatian wine route to visit the Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi (sculptor of the Statute of Liberty) museum. It is possible I may also take a weekend rail trip to medieval Avignon in Provence for their summer festival over the 4th of July weekend. My evenings will likely be spent at local cafes with other students. So my attire needs to be versatile…able to dress it up or dress it down as the occasion warrants. I think Anatomie has the perfect style of clothing for me!
*Of the above six styles, I think the Paola pant suits my needs best. I would prefer the pants in black and in an XL size just to be sure because I am tall. The Susan would also work perfectly as well also in a black XL!!! I would LOVE either one:)
*Thanks for your consideration. I just love all your travel clothes!! I’ve been wanting to try them out for ages. I hope you pick me as one of the six!
Warmest regards,
Lesley

The Celine would also be a nice alternative.
*Thanks for your consideration. I just love all your travel clothes!! I’ve been wanting to try them out for ages. I hope you pick me as one of the six!
Warmest regards,
Lesley
My heart rate just got faster looking at this concept! I’ve been a diehard fan of the skylar skinnies since your review on them (thank you, thank you, thank you), and loved them so much that I ordered another pair in a different colour. I’ve ordered several things from Anatomie and have been very pleased with the quality, packability and the amazing customer service! Really, the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I would be thrilled to continue to share the love of this great company. I would love to test out a pair of Paola’s in khaki or navy during my real life in Tunis, girls trip to Milan in june, or summer trip to Canada in july and august. The reason I initially bought the skylar skinnies was because I was often packing for spur of the moment possible evacuations from Tunis while things were a little dicier than they are now. I needed clothes that could be versatile and light weight incase I had to suddenly flee with just a backpack on my back so I could carry my daughter in my arms if i had to. Well, I’d like to think those days are over and I’ll just be acquiring more lightweight items for carryon travel to europe along with everyday wear. I’m always trying to find ways to look less ‘sporty-canadian-traveller ‘ so I can blend in better in Europe, and Anatomie is the way to go, while still keeping things light enough for carryon.
The hunt for the perfect travel pant has ended! This summer I’ll be walking Hadrians Wall in England, travelling to Puglia and Rome for a week then sightseeing on Lago Maggiore in Italy’s north. Doing all this in a pair of large, black Paola pants from Anatomie would make packing my 24 litre backpack a breeze. The transformation from day to night would require just a change of shoes and top. I love versatile clothing and packing light. Fingers crossed and thank you for this opportunity TFG!
I would make an awesome Anatomie Contributor for TFG as I am enthusiastic and fashionable individual that lives and breaths travel, ‘passionate traveller’ is an understatement! I studied journalism at university and I love to write! Being an Anatomie Contributor for TFG would combine my three passions of fashion, travel & writing!
I’m exchanging my Tasmanian winter to explore and relax in Europe for the northern hemisphere Summer! My epic 10 week itinerary includes Finland, Croatia, Greece, Scotland, England, Spain, France & Turkey! With a variety of activities, varied weather and a 24 hour flight it would be a great opportunity to thoroughly put Anatomie pants to the test!
Inspired by TFG I plan to pack as light as possible and the versatility of Anatomie pants will allow me to be casual or dressy without packing various clothing items.
I would love the Celine pants as they’re chic, slim fitted and don’t look dorky like some travel clothes. I also like that they have a more conservative cut; as low rise doesn’t suit my body shape. I’m a shorty at 5″1 so the Celine pants will be full length on me! My size is Medium and my desired colour is Black or Grey.
These look so comfy! I’ve been on the look out for the perfect summer travelling pants. I’d really like the Bianca style in a dark colour (XL)….although I am torn on the Susan and Celine as well! ughghgh! This summer I’m planning on going to the Rockies here in Canada. This trip is special to me because I’ve had to put my usual expat-travel lifestyle on hold the past year and a half due to having a bone tumour removed from my leg last August. Last July, a friend took me through the Rockies to cheer me up. It was beautiful, but I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t enjoy it as much as I’d have liked. This summer, my brother and I are planning on going and I’m excited to be back on my feet and able to do some hiking and enjoy the beauty and splendour of my own country before hopefully hitting the road internationally again soon!
June to August, 2014. Four countries (US, Canada, England, and India – which is my home country), several different locations (from London to a Kansas farm; the Himalayas to Washington, DC; he streets of Toronto to boating on the Atlantic). And did I mention this is all happening with a 7-9 month old along, too? Here’s a test (and great ad!) for Anatomie travel pants… can they transition seamlessly from conservative India in 40+C temperatures, on to an 8-hour plane flight, a day in London, another plane flight, and an evening in Toronto? Do they hold up with a baby and its assorted challenges?
I have the ability to test and show off the pants in a variety of different situations – from city streets to a Canadian cottage, boats to planes, tourist sites and lounging around at “home”. There aren’t a lot of nice travel pants out there which can be worn by a mom trying to manage her kid and still traveling – and the moms that do (that I know, anyway!) would rather splurge once for a pair of great pants that can hold up to all the rigors of their travel and last, rather than buy a cheap pair of pants that just can’t hold up its end of the bargain. When I leave India it will be a nice dry 40 or so in Delhi… and when I return, we’ll be in the middle of monsoon, where /nothing/ can dry overnight – so how would they handle being caught in a monsoon downpour (just like you get in SEA) and then hung up over a chair (just like in your hotel or hostel), and how do they look in the morning?
I think a pair of black Fiora pants in size Extra Large would make a great travel companion for this summer… because, face it – the baby weight’s still not all gone, and black goes with everything!
So excited for this opportunity – I’ve been lusting after Anatomie pants since I first saw them on your blog! I would love to be an Anatomie contributor for TFG. I used to blog a lot but since going back to University I haven’t had the time, I’ll take any excuse to write though. This summer I have a trip planned to Peru in August for 26 days, including hiking the Inca Trail – these pants would be absolutely perfect for that! I really like the Paola in Navy, extra large or I also really like the Kate. I’ve been working out 3-5 times a week to get ready for the trip and a new pair of pants to celebrate would be awesome! Can’t wait to see all the submissions 🙂
Greetings from Seattle, Washington!
Wow, this opportunity sounds like a blast and I think I’m your person to participate. In preparation for my trip I discovered Travel Fashion Girl and I have been hooked ever since. I think I have clicked thru most of the links and printed out packing ideas. I have been researching practical travel clothes that have flair and are versatile. I think I would be a good person to travel with these pants because I could put them to the test in a variety of situations and travel conditions. The style of pants that I think would best suit me are “Susan Skinny Pant” in black, x-large.

I would love to test drive a pair of grey Fiora pants, size L, on my road trip to southern Utah and Salt Lake City from Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Fiora’s photo shoots would take place in spectacularly different settings: the forests of the Colorado Rockies, Southern Utah’s red rock country, downtown Salt Lake City as well as two other serendipitous places. On this trip the Fiora’s would be tested on a long drive, in the city and in the great outdoors.
What fab pants! It’s so hard to choose just one style for this but the Celine (black, medium) style really speaks to me. As a taller girl, I’m 5′ 11″, the ankle style is easier to fit and won’t have to worry about them being too short because then they would just be capris! They also look comfy and chic at the same time. As a new, up and coming travel blogger who is aspiring to make my own travel show as well (and currently taking tv hosting classes in Los Angeles) I want to share everything from fashion, food and fun about my travels and am constantly asked about my favorite travel must haves. I would love the opportunity to share this with my readers as well as post pics on Instagram. This summer I have a few local Southern California trips planned to San Diego, Palm Springs, and Slovang as well as trips to Seattle(visiting family and wineries), New York and Europe. In Europe I will be visiting Switzerland, Hungary and Italy before your deadline. I will be in Italy, staying in Lake Como for the Formula 1 race at your Aug 31 deadline while continuing on to Madrid, Berlin and the Moroccan desert in the beginning of September. My Berlin stay could possibly happen sooner. I also work various award shows in California and Vegas and these pants would be PERFECT for show days as well as rehearsals! Infact, I wish I had them for the Billboard Music Awards this weekend in Vegas

Ola fellow Travel fashionistas! My name is Shae and I’m super excited to share my summer plans with you and throw my name in the hat for being one of the 6 fabulous TFG/Anatomie contributors this summer. A frequent international traveler, I my next destination for June-July 2014 is…. Vitoria, Brazil! Not only will I be enjoying the working life while in Brazil, the whole world will also have its eyes on Brazil due to the World Cup. I feel this is a perfect opportunity to show the versatility of the Kate (Dark Grey, Sz. Lg) pant being professional, polished, and casual. With any luck, these will be one of my staples while navigating both the hot weather and the variety of activities I will be partaking in. Between work, football watching, hiking, and beach going, I’m convinced that the Kate will be an invaluable asset to my travel wardrobe in Brazil. Brazil also has some of the most striking fashions in the world and I think with the Kate’s styling and subtle detailing, they will fit right in with best of the trendy Brazilians. I’m 5’9′ and sometimes finding cute, stylish ankle pants can be a challenge. With Anatomie’s reputation and rave reviews, I’m sure that I will be able to write a glowing recommendation at the end of my experience with the Kate pant and take them with me as I embark to my first two years of medical school on an island (during which I’m also certain I would use them relentlessly).
Thank you for the opportunity, Alex!!!
I would be a great choice for an Anatomie contributor because I have a passion for travel. This summer we are visiting Guanajuato Mexico. I try to embrace local culture and foods in every country that I visit. Later this year Spain is on our itinerary. I love the thought that I can look put together after a long international flight!
I am not your skinny girl traveler. I would love to try out an extra large pair of Susan travel pants in black.
Pick Me Please!

I just ADORE the Susan skinny pants and would love to have a size medium in navy!!! I’m a two-year ovarian cancer survivor and have recently been selected by the National Ovarian Cancer Alliance to serve as a national advocate for ovarian cancer research and awareness. I traveled to Washington, DC in March and will be returning from July 10-15 for further advocacy efforts. My daughter will be flying up as well to learn more about her risk factors and visit Capitol Hill with me. Unlike most ovarian cancers, the rare type that I had is slow growing and thus does not respond to chemotherapy. I can survive for many years with periodic surgeries should the cancer recur, so my mission is to advocate for additional funding and awareness for all those women who don’t have the opportunity to do so! Survival rates have not improved in 40 years and that’s very sad. I would love to ROCK those pants in our nation’s capitol and would take lots of pictures, so please pick me!!!! :))
I’m Tessa, a California girl, but a Parisian at heart. After leaving my corporate job in France, my photographer fiancé and I are traveling around Asia for a year. As a newbie backpacker, I want to stay stylish, even on the road. I’ve gotten great tips from Travel Fashion Girl and passed those tips on to other fashionable backpacker chicks I’ve met along the way! I also keep up a blog where we recount our experiences in photos and words: http://www.thewayfarerspath.wordpress.com
We’re favoring overland travel, which means that in addition to style, comfort and wearability is key. I love lightweight, super useful clothing pieces – a silky sarong, a foldable bag, and my favorite 12-way travel dress – and have been dreaming of a pair of Anatomie pants for some time! My single pair of pants got damaged in a minor motorbike accident in Laos, and I’d love to replace them with the light and chic Celine pants (in black, medium).
We’re currently in Myanmar, and this summer we’ll be jetting around Indonesia, the Philippines, Micronesia and India. I’ll definitely need to cover up in some of our temple visits, and the Celine style will also allow entrance in some nicer restaurants in the cities. Let me share my love for fashion and travel by being an Anatomie contributor!

I will be doing a lot of traveling this summer. The biggest trip I will be taking is a 2-week honeymoon in Europe: my husband and I will be visiting Amsterdam, Milan, Trieste, Vienna, and Berlin. We’ll be sightseeing by day and seeing Pearl Jam in concert by night! This is my first time being out of the country in a decade and we are backpacking, so I really want to pack light. The Anatomie Paola pants (in Grey, Size Large) would be perfect for me: not only will they flatter my figure (curvy), but they are also lightweight, moisture-wicking, and quick-drying. These would be great for the unpredictable weather in spots like Amsterdam. They will also work well on the multiple plane rides will be taking, nice dinners in the city, or concerts in the evening.
Additionally, I’ll be making shorter trips within the U.S. throughout the summer. This includes eastern Tennessee, western North Carolina, Chicago, and Indianapolis.
I have been checking out TravelFashionGirl.com for the past six months to get tips and reviews of products for our upcoming trip to Europe. I would love to share my travel stories with other readers: all of the adventures to be had in these cities and some recommendations on what to do (or not to do!).
Why you would make an awesome Anatomie contributor for TFG during your travels this summer 2014. I think I would make an awesome Anatomie contributor because I will be traveling this summer from California to London for 3 weeks to see the sights and from London to Oregon to visit family and celebrate my grandfather’s 90th birthday, then back to California to teach summer school. I think I will be able to give readers an honest idea of how the pants, fit and wear while traveling to my many different locations. As a contributor for TFG I think I can provide an honest review of the Anatomie pants.
I would like to travel in the Susan pant in black and in a large.
Thank you for the opportunity to travel in these pants! I love reading the TFG blog! It has given me more confidence in my travels! I can’t wait to see what is coming up next!!
-Sarah
I would make the perfect Anatomie contributor for TFG because I will be moving permanently to Europe in June 2014 and will be traveling all across Europe for summer 2014. I will need a versatile pair of pants that will be able to take with me. I would love the Paola travel pants in black size medium. I will be moving to Belgium in June and will be travelling extensively throughout the country. I also plan on traveling to France, Spain, Italy, Poland and Romania (just to name a few).
I would make an awesome contributor to TFG because I have a wide range of places to hit this summer, and I always pack in a carry-on, the lighter the better! Anatomie pants could take me from dinner to hikes, and I could vouch for a wide range of their use! Susan Skinny pant would be my pick, in medium. in either black or grey.
I am going to start off in London this summer, in June, hitting museums in the day, and theater at night. Then off to Sardinia for a week on the beach and trekking archaeological sites. After that, three weeks on an organic farm in Sicily, then doing some archaeological research in a tiny town in Sicily. Finally back to Iowa in August!
Alas, I really want to try the Kate Skinny Cargos, but my travel for July is going to be in Mexico and I fear it will be too hot for pants of any type. Although, it will be hurricane season, so it would be a opportunity to see how fast they dry! One of my goals while traveling is to look chic and to not be too stinky! So clothing that is easy to wash on the go and is wrinkle free is a huge plus. I am sure you will find someone going to a more appropriate destination this summer who can be one of your summer contributors. I will watch from the sidelines, and maybe try out a pair of the shorts or capris instead. Safe travels ladies!
