Traveling on cruise Nov 2-16. Much will be in Greek Isles. Do you wear white in Nov?
Summer attire with sweater or jacket?
Hey Ann 🙂 It will still be relatively warm at this time so layers would be a great option for cool and hot weather 🙂 Have an awesome time!
I completely agree with the previous comment re: the boots. Not only are they kinda a hassle to take off/on at security, particularly if you’re traveling internationally and some airports may require you to clear multiple checkpoints, but they’re impractical to wear for long flights… and even if they do unzip easily, they take up too much space at my feet — I need that room for my carry-on (and my legs!). But, of course, I do understand that if you want to wear your boots at your destination, then it’s much more practical to wear them on your body when you travel than to stuff them in your bag.
I am a gal who wears skinny jeans on transatlantic flights, though. So I hear ya on that one. 🙂
These look terrific but are pretty impractical for air travel. Who wants to wear jeans on a long flight? Who wants to deal with the hassle of taking off and putting back on riding boots at security?
Hi Marie, I suppose it just depends on the type of travel you’re doing especially if you have an hour flight or weekend jaunt. Many girls like to wear jeans when they travel and I personally find boots to be my most comfortable travel shoes for city and winter travel.
My riding boots are pretty easy to zip on and off – much faster than tying shoe laces in fact 😉 However, if cute and loungy is more your style, check out these other flight outfits here: https://travelfashiongirl.com/3-cozy-outfits-for-your-next-flight/
I’ve got a little something for everyone 🙂
I agree they’re stylish (I would wear jeans or boots so I don’t have to carry them, because they’re typically heavy, but cozy) but a little impractical (more so the first and second outfits), because of the jewelry and studs. Metal is what gets me going through security :/
However, I like this concept and would love to see more posts like this coupled with sample packing lists. Sort of like “pack this; wear this through the airport” if that makes sense?
I enjoy the site and seeing the different perspectives on traveling!
Thank you! I try to keep it as diverse as possible 🙂
