Happy 2015 travel fashion girls! Hope the new year brings exciting adventures wherever the world may take you.

Since many of us start the year with a common New Year resolution, I thought I’d share mine: travel fitness! While I love going to the gym in Los Angeles I seriously struggle to workout on the go. As a permanent nomad this proves to be a major problem.

To help get back on track I’m easing my way back into it by setting a feasible daily goal using fast workouts. I’ve put together videos and tutorials that I thought you might find useful too. Enjoy!

Fast Workouts for Travelers

5-Minute Workout Videos

When traveling you want to make the most of every minute so you might not want to dedicate an hour at the gym during your vacation. Instead, you can start your day with fast workouts.

You’ll start your day feeling energized and won’t feel too bad if you don’t have time for a full workout later in the day. Yoga’s particularly effective for traveling because you don’t need any specialty clothing or gear.

If you’re just starting to get your fitness routine back on track, I find short exercise spurts also make it more feasible to actually get up and do it!

Sightseeing

Sightseeing may not be a ”fast” workout but it’s something you’ll be doing anyway so let’s make it count!

The easiest way to know how active or inactive you are is by wearing a pedometer. Set a goal to walk a minimum and make sure you don’t stop sightseeing until you’ve reached it.

I have a Fitbit, which states that 10,000 steps are the minimum you should take every day. This is a great little device if you have serious fitness goals and want to monitor your progress with an app.

For a more simple and cheaper option, use a regular pedometer to stay on track.
