I am so glad I was introduced to AllBirds through this site! I have bought two pairs of wool dasher mizzles because they were recommended through the Facebook page for being comfortable and water resistant and great all year round. They are also great because I needed a lot of ankle support and they have been the safest shoes that don’t cover my ankle that still keep it stable.
I love my Sketchers- any style! From flats, sneakers to waterproof boots. They are my go-to for traveling with a lot of walking.
I have the sorel cate and the Blundstone boots. Both are great to walk in and keep the water out. The lug sole keeps you from slipping and I wear a pair and bring a pair when traveling.
I will be going to NYC in December, so this list is especially helpful for walking all over the city!! Thank you!
I’ve had 3 pair of Allbird Wool Runners which have felt like slippers especially during Covid when they stretched out. Unfortunately, the sole wears quickly and they are slippery in the rain. I got a pair of Wool Mizzle Runners and love the grippy, more durable sole, but they were too tight to bring to Europe with all the walking and swollen, tired feet. I’m 9 days in on an Italy trip and loving m a brand new pair of Wool Dasher Mizzles sized up a half size. I wish all the shoes came in half sizes. This sole is different, but is thick and padded. Please make a more dress appropriate pair with a cushy sole.
