Choosing a Sports Bra
It all starts with picking (and packing) the best bras, whether it’s a regular bra or a sports bra.
It is so important that you get a professional fitting to determine the best bra for your unique shape and to make sure you are wearing the correct size.
For women of all chest sizes, especially those with larger busts, it is highly recommended that you invest in a great sports bra to strap yourself in tight during adventurous travel activities. The type of activity you are engaging in may determine the support level you will need.
For low-intensity activities, such as yoga or hiking, you need a sports bra that is supportive and stylish to hold you in tight. With high-intensity activities, you might prefer a bra with a back opening or mesh, to let your skin breathe, and straps that are adjustable. Sports bras with built-in cups also keep your girls in check during bouncier activities.
Washing a Sports Bra
Once you find the perfect sports bras, make sure you look after them! It’s best to hand wash them. Always air dry and never put your bras in the dryer. Hand washing your bras with gentle soap or baby detergent and cool water is the best way to prolong their use. If you plan to wash your sports bra when you travel, be sure it is made of material that will dry overnight so it’s ready to wear or pack the next day.
The Best Color for a Sports Bra
The color is up to you, but if you’re a light-packing traveler or like multi-use items, consider a neutral hue, such as a skin-tone hue, black, or white. This way, you can wear it as a regular bra, if needed.
