Wearing pants made from material that doesn’t easily wick away sweat can put a damper on any trip. Luckily, well-traveled TFG readers have given their recommendations for the best women’s quick dry pants for travel. Find out what they’ve picked below!
Best Women’s Quick Dry Pants
Table Of Contents
If you’re going on a trip that involves some outdoor adventure, chances are you’ll need clothes that can withstand heat and wick away moisture and sweat, all while drying fast while you’re on the go. Denim and cotton materials are not particularly good for these reasons.
For moisture wicking and breathability, pants made from spandex, nylon, or polyester materials are your best bet. Their composition varies from trouser to trouser, based on cost and brand. Whichever pants you choose, make sure they are durable, long-lasting, and protect you for your specific activities.
Our helpful readers offer their picks for the quick dry pants that can hold up to whatever punishment you give them!

I love the Eddie Bauer Guide Pro pants! So comfortable! I will say they do stretch a bit, so if you are in between size I’d try the smaller size. They’ll stretch.
I can highly recommend the Vuori Rip Stop pants, the Betabrand yoga pant, and the Athleta Brooklyn pant. I took all 3 on a 5 week trip. There were no wrinkles whatsoever. Excellent quality.
I love Anatomie pants. I have one pair and would really love a second pair in a different style. I want a high-waisted pant as I find them more comfortable. I would really like to try the Skyler but they look like they are a lower rise. Does anyone have a suggestion for a flattering high rise Anatomie pant? Also, love TFG!
Thank you for these great ideas! My favorite pants are the Anatomie Skylers. I have an 8-shape hourglass figure, typically size 10-12, and I wear them in size XL with a belt. I love them for a wide range of settings and temperatures. By tucking the hem up to the inside, I can create cropped or ankle length, but they are long enough for me to wear as long pants.. I always feel beautiful wearing them, so I keep two pairs ready to go at all times, Black and Grey. I save them for travel and special occasions.
My other favorite long pants are the convertible Kuhl Trekr pants, which have a drawstring in the lower leg which is used to raise and lower the length. The ruching creates cute capris or shorter pants for boots and mud. They are hardworking but very comfortable and not too casual for cities.
I really like the Skyler travel pants, but am a bit curvy. In your opinion, would the Thea Curvy Straight Leg pants be just as travel friendly? It’s a lot of money to spend, but I’m willing to do it for all the benefits of a really good, quick-dry travel pant.
